Refund policy

All sales are final -By proceeding with your order you hereby confirm you have read and agree to these terms. Thank you for your understanding!

We have a 30-day return policy , which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return only for factory defective merchandise.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. A 25% restocking fee will be charged on any return, no exceptions unless is a factory defect.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

If the package was marked as delivered by the carrier, but the customer reports they have yet to receive it, Cool Tricks won't cover the cost of reshipping or refunding the order.

There may be cases where the delivery was made, but the package was left in an unexpected location at the customer's address. Customers should reach out to the carrier and inquire if any additional details were left by the delivery person. For example: “Left under the table on the back porch."

If the customer is unable to locate the package we're not yet able to assist with filing claims with shipping carriers but hope to do so in the future!


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Any returns or problems that occur because of an error on our part will be handled at our expense.

Wrong size - If the customer would like to exchange or return a product without any defect or due to a wrong size being ordered would be handled at the customer expense by placing a new order.

Wrong Address - If you provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable). When we receive a returned shipment, an automated email notification will be sent to you. Unclaimed returns get donated to charity after 4 weeks. 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too (7 to 10 business days).

Refunds do not include any shipping, taxes and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice.  You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.

What happens if a package wasn't delivered but the tracking states that it was?

PACKAGE WAS MARKED "DELIVERED", BUT HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT!

 

If your tracking was marked as "delivered", but the package wasn't received? We're happy to help! 

When the tracking for your package is updated as "delivered" by the postal carrier, it triggers an automatic email from us to let you know about this new status. 

Sometimes, a package will be marked as delivered by the shipping carrier prematurely. If you receive the delivery email but have not received your package, here is what we suggest 

  • USPS delivery vehicles use GPS that can automatically update a package as "delivered" prematurely. Please wait another business day, as the package could have been marked as delivered by mistake, and will arrive the following day or so.

  • Be sure you entered the correct address during checkout. The shipping information you enter during checkout is automatically transferred to the post office, therefore we cannot be held responsible if you entered an incorrect address.

  • Contact your local USPS post office. Make sure you contact your LOCAL post office, and not the USPS hotline. Your local post office will be able to provide quicker, and better service. Ask who delivered the package, and ask for the details of that day's delivery. USPS is used to these questions, and will generally provide helpful information. Call your local post office and ask for the delivery supervisor. Explain the situation to them. They can use geo tracking to investigate. This is very important for you to know exactly where your package is located in real time

  • If the package still does not show up and you opted for Route Insurance file a claim here > https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm 
  • If the package still does not show up  and you opted out of Route insurance, please call USPS to file a claim.

  • Shop Cool Tricks cannot reimburse OR re-ship orders that were mis-delivered by the post office, incorrect shipping address entered at checkout,  or stolen from a property. Thank you for understanding
