One of Disney Plus’ most popular shows may be in store for a third season before he second debuts! Variety reports The Mandalorian is already preparing for Season 3!
Apparently, series creator Jon Favreau has been “writing season 3 for a while.” Also, Doug Chiang, Lucasfilm vice president, executive creative director, and head of the art department has been working diligently on new concepts for Season 3 “for the past few weeks.”
Season 2 of The Mandalorian is set to premiere in October. Thankfully, the series wrapped production in March right before the Coronavirus pandemic caused everything to come to a halt.
With the show’s success on Disney Plus and with Baby Yoda, it’s absolutely plausible a third season of the Star Wars centric show is in the works!
