Ewan McGregor Dishes Obi-Wan Series

The Force is strong with Disney Plus! Ewan McGregor dishes new details about the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series on The Graham Norton show!

The series has been in the works for quite sometime and production will soon begin. McGregor reveals “It’s the Obi-Wan Kenobi story. It’s not all me. But it certainly will be a lot of me, which is good! We start shooting it in March of next year.”

McGregor also took the time out to praise the original Star Wars Obi-Wan actor Alec Guinness. Unfortunately, Guinness passed before McGregor could meet him. McGregor admits he will attempt to portray his best version of a younger Obi-wan with Guinness in mind.

As previously announced, the series will be one season containing six episodes. It is set 8 years after Revenge of the Sith, and 11 years before A New Hope. The Jedi are essentially a thing of the past during this time frame.
